Rules, Regulations & Policies
Welcome to Mariners Point Campground.
The following policies have been set to ensure the comfort, enjoyment, and safety of our guests. Please ensure that you, your invitees, friends and family understand them. Your stay may be terminated immediately, without refund, if these rules are not respected. Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of their invitees, friends and family at all times and will be held financially responsible for any damages caused to property or equipment of the park.
Dates of Operation
The campground is open from the first Friday in May and closes at noon the last Sunday in October .
RV Sites: Check In - 2 PM Check Out - 12 PM (noon)
All guests must check in immediately at the
Advance arrangements must be made for any check-ins after 9:00 PM. For safety reasons and to respect other campers, arrivals after 10:00 PM will have to park behind the welcome center until 8 AM.(Exceptions will be allowed if you have called before 9 PM to let us know you will be late .
Reservations & Fees
You can make your reservation via email 7 days a week.
All reservation cancellations must be sent via the "Contact Us" on the home page. Changes may be made to your reservation based on availability.
HST is applicable to all fees.
All reservations shall be paid in full upon check-in.
Seasonal fee's are payable by cash or cheque only. Visa/Mastercard Cheques are acceptable, but not cards.
Overnight fees are payable on arrival by cash, credit card or debit card.?
Reservations that are held by credit card and are deemed to be no-shows will forfeit their reservation deposit.
Cancellation & Change Policies
A 48 hour notice is required for cancellations of reservations. Failure to cancel before 48 hours will result in the fee being charged to your credit card. No shows will be charged the reservation fee.
Use of site
The maximum number of people per site is 2 adults and 4 children to a maximum 6 people. Children are 18 years of age and younger and adults are 19 years of age and older. Additional visitors will be charged $5 per night or $27 per night if they are in a tent on your site.
All visitors must register at the office on entry, and a fee of up to $5.00 per visitor may be applied to all visitors 16 years of age or older. A visitor is anyone who does not normally attend as a dependent.
Space permitting, each site may be used for the parking of one RV, one tow vehicle and a second vehicle if needed . All other vehicles and visitors shall park in areas designated by the staff and may be subject to additional parking charges.
Motorcycles A maximum of two motorcycles towing bike trailers per site constitutes one vehicle.
Additional fees for the third vehicle (not including the RV)(1/2 the campsite fee) must be paid on arrival at the campground. The third vehicle must NOT be a Recreational Vehicle.
If you arrive at the campground with more people or vehicles than you have reserved for, there will be additional nightly campsite fees, or accommodation may not be available.
Two pets per campsite are welcome and permitted but must be under control and on a leash at all times. Vicious dogs will not be allowed. Pet waste must be picked up and deposited in the garbage bin. Excessive barking will not be tolerated.
Generators may only be used during non-quiet times (8:00am to 10:00pm).
Please do not move or remove picnic tables from sites.
ALCOHOL and DRUGS
Alcohol may be consumed responsibly within the park. Please be considerate of your neighbors.
The use of any non prescription drug including marijuana are strictly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate expulsion from the park without refund.
All garbage and recycling must be deposited in the bins provided so as not to attract wildlife or other rodents.
Garbage and recycling must be stored in a secured area or inside the RV (not in tents) until disposal.
Campfires are permitted at each campsite in the pits provided and must always be attended to. Do not burn garbage. Fire rings are not to be relocated within the site nor removed from the site.
Firewood may be purchased at the office. Do not remove bark or damage trees in the campground.?
Fireworks are restricted to the field above the beach.
Watch for children playing. Park only in designated parking areas and please do not block roads. The speed limit on roadways within the park is 10 KM per hour.
Unlicensed vehicles (trail bikes, quads, off-road or any other motorized vehicles) are not allowed to operate in the park. Low speed Golf carts being the exception .
For the comfort of guests, there is a ZERO tolerance for noise during quiet time, our policy is to provide one warning, then the guests are asked to leave. This does not mean you must be in bed, I just means you must not be loud enough for sleeping neighbours to be disturbed.

To ensure a quiet camping experience for all, excessive noise, loud music, foul language and unruly or disruptive behavior will not be permitted at any time of the day.
Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children, regardless of age. Children under the age of 12 years must be supervised on the beach area by a responsible adult at all times. This does not mean older children.
Visitors are welcome between the hours of 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. A visitor fee of $5.00 is applicable on entry.
All visitors must check in at the Welcome Centre . Sites are limited to a maximum total of 10 people including campers.
Please respect the privacy of other guests. Do not walk through occupied sites.
Specific to Seasonal Campers:
Seasonal sites are for the exclusive use of the renter and registered family subject to the following.Fee's must be paid in full at the start of the season unless previous arrangements have been made. After June 1st power will be off until the fee's are paid in full.
Use of your site by unregistered guests is NOT PERMITTED unless the registered camper is present.
We cannot be responsible for your RV or the people in it.
At no time will persons 19 years of age of or under be allowed to overnight on a seasonal site unless the person who paid for the site is present.
The registered site owner is the person named on the registration you completed when your site was chosen. All guests are subject to a $5.00 minimum additional fee if they are on your site past 10 PM.
When you are away from your site for an extended period ( 4 hours or more) please ensure all air conditioners and lights are turned off. It doesn't take more than a few minutes to cool down an RV even in the most extreme weather. If you can't do that don't be surprised if your power is off when you return.
Use of any external electrical power, (recharging golf carts, outside refrigerators/ freezers, Etc.) are subject to a monthly fee over and above your seasonal rate.
Decks not higher than the level of the lowest floor of your RV are permitted in the area between lots. If you wish to have a higher level it must be placed at the rear of your RV and not exceeding the width or height of your RV. On waterfront lots any Screen tent or enclosed building must be placed in the area behind your trailer where it does not interfere with the view of campers in the lots opposite you.
Care of your lot is your responsibility. A lawn mower and weed cutter are available for your use at the welcome center. It is up to the camper to keep it neat and tidy. That includes close to and under your trailer.
Boats or any other object tied to the boat docks are subject to docking fee's as listed on website.
Mariners Point is privately owned and reserves the right to terminate any site rental for violation of our policies without refund. The user assumes full responsibilities for injury or illness occurring to them or members of their family. Additionally we assume no responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen property occurring to anyone while on our grounds or in our facilities.
